What an amazing day! On Jun 28th, 2024 our Rappahannock Education Farm is now the owner of 9 acres on White Oak Road. This is a major and necessary milestone toward fulfilling our mission of growing significant amounts of beautiful produce to donate to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, food pantries and others to reduce hunger in our community. There is a lot of work ahead and we will need to raise substantial funds https://www.rappahannockfarm.org/donate/ to build out and execute on this site — but this is a day of gratitude.
Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful board and volunteers and to all who worked hard to make this day possible. We greatly appreciate Price Jett who sold the land to us at a price and terms that made this purchase possible.
