VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY THIS WEEK
This Wednesday, 12/11/2024: meet at the Farm 9:30-11:00 AM.
* Mostly we will be harvesting kale and collards to donate.
Even though we’re in the cold winter months, we are getting ready for the Spring.
* A well is being drilled and hopefully will be mostly completed by the end of this week.
* Deer Fence: We have ordered the posts needed to erect an 8 foot fence to keep deer out of the back 4 acres of our farm. We expect the posts to be delivered this week. Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities as we put the posts in the ground and attach the fencing.
* Planning for our 2025 crops: We’re mapping out what we intend to plant in each of our fields. Our goal in 2025 will be to grow and donate 25,000 pounds of beautiful produce.
