Such a productive afternoon — with NINE (9) volunteers accomplishing two important tasks!! With winter weather FAST approaching, 4 volunteers (Brenda, Mary, Nathan and Eric) finished the job of giving our winter crops of kale and collards a nice blanket of leaves to keep them a bit warmer and protected. Five volunteers (Jim, Andy, Sean, Mike and Rich) focused on driving fence posts into the ground and were able to finish the second of four sides that will be enclosed by our new deer fence. Not bad for a cold, but sunny Thursday!!
