So much happening on the farm!
Spring has arrived with our beautiful tulips that have just begun to bloom!!
As of today, the rest of our collards have been harvested. We planted these in September/October and have been harvesting them all winter and donating them to reduce hunger. They’ve treated us and our community well!! But they are colder weather plants and this warm weather is not to their liking. Nothing lasts forever.
Just a couple days ago 20 dedicated volunteers planted 400 pounds of seed potatoes!! It wasn’t easy, but they did such a great job.
With Spring being a busy season we have so many volunteer opportunities throughout the week – please visit our Facebook page for the latest information. Helping out as a volunteer, we will be preparing fields for planting, watering, weeding and also planting carrots and beets!!
