Native Plants? ? We are looking for native plants. Our awesome volunteer Kari Thompson, along with other volunteers are in the midst of preparing our new REF native pollinator garden. The native plant garden at our Rappahannock Education Farm will have walking paths, and will also house bee hives. If you have native/pollinator plants to spare in your gardens, or need some spring dividing, they will be a welcomed addition to REF. We have 4 planting days scheduled for May, where you can bring your plant donations, the 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st. We have plenty of space for a good variety of plants that will not only pollinate and protect our vegetables, but will look beautiful for every season. Here is the list of plants we’re hoping to have in the garden, however any pollinator plant will be very appreciated.
