Thanks to the many amazing volunteers who came out the first week in March, we made tremendous progress!! Dead and damaged leaves were removed from kale and collard plants in an entire field and most of our cabbage and broccoli stocks were also removed. All will be composted. This important work prepares us for harvests of kale and collards later this month and into April. We’ll likely complete the removal of dead and damaged kale and collard leaves in our large field as well as the remaining broccoli and cabbage stocks by mid-March. We’ll also start planting thousands of seed potatoes. The weather is looking favorable!
